Relationship breakdown
When a marriage or civil partnership breaks down it can be an extremely painful experience. We offer sympathetic advice together with practical solutions.

As well as dealing with the emotional impact, couples inevitably have to consider the financial consequences. Understandably, perhaps where resources are limited, some are concerned about the cost of taking legal advice and may decide to sort matters out between them, relying on the “advice” of friends or trying to apply the principles of high profile (usually wealthy) cases to their own. No two cases are alike and there are pitfalls of “going it alone!” For most people there is only one opportunity to get a financial settlement right and the earlier advice is taken the better.
Expertise: knowing what questions to ask in order to form an accurate picture of all the assets involved and to give guidance as to an appropriate financial settlement;
Certainty: recording in a written agreement or a financial consent order ensures that there are no unpleasant surprises in years to come with an unexpected claim;
Enforceability: a means of forcing a defaulting party to comply with its terms...
...are all key to a satisfactory conclusion to your divorce or relationship breakdown.
