Martin Sisman - (LLB) (TEP)
Martin is now semi-retired and has served Bush & Bush (now AMD Solicitors) for several years in a consultancy capacity, making available his wide experience of non-contentious law, especially in the fields of probate, estate planning, administration of family trusts and powers of attorney and services for the elderly. He has been a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (S.T.E.P.) since its formation in 1991.
Admitted as a solicitor in 1965, Martin has had a lifelong career in Bristol’s legal profession, ultimately since 1989 running a general practice in Clifton bearing his name, before retiring from full-time practice in 2004.
Martin has also given service to voluntary community work, serving as a governor of Bristol Grammar School for 20 years and as a trustee of Bristol Charities for longer, and using his professional expertise and connections in many local community projects. He lists membership of Bristol Savages as one of his most pleasurable current social activities.
