Emma Muir - Solicitor

Emma trained with AMD and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2009 and now works in our family department based at our Shirehampton office.

Most recently, Emma has:

• Assisted clients in resolving children and financial issues on divorce and separation.
• Advised and assisted grandparents in order to re-establish contact with children in the family following the breakdown of their children’s relationships.
• Acted for parents in cases where Social Services are involved and care proceedings are either being contemplated by the Local Authority or have already been issued.
• Helped clients experiencing difficulties as a result of violent and abusive relationships - obtaining emergency protection Orders from the Court to protect them, when required.
• Advised Employees in connection with their employment rights upon Termination of Employment.
