Claire Nelson - Solicitor

Claire qualified in 1984 and joined AMD in 2007. She is based in our Wills and Probate Department.

Claire specialises in preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney for both Property & Finance and Health and Welfare.

Whilst it is preferable to plan ahead by completing a Lasting Power of Attorney Claire also makes applications to the Court of Protection for the appointment of Deputies.

Recently Claire has:

• Joined STEP as a student member and is studying for the STEP Certificate in Will Preparation
• Advised clients who have separated/divorced on the preparation of new Wills
• Advised clients on the severance of Joint tenancy in property as part of estate planning

In the past Claire has been a Parent Governor at St John’s School Clifton. In 2011 Claire is participating in the Three Peaks Challenge with other members of the Bristol Vineyard
