The Clifton Club hosts AMD event to promote company expansion and website launch

Over 120 people joined the staff and directors at the Clifton Club on Tuesday 1st November to help AMD celebrate the continued expansion of their company and the launch of their new website www.amdsolicitors.com.

AMD have had a strong local presence in North Bristol for many years and has continued to grow steadily. Recent months have seen some exciting new developments to strengthen the range of services and expertise the company can offer.

Richard Harris, a former president of the Bristol Law Society and formerly head of his own firm Richard Harris & Co together with his assistant Pam, has joined the AMD team at 15 The Mall Clifton and, on 1st October, the highly regarded practice of Bush and Bush also became part of AMD Solicitors. Peter Golding, now a Director of AMD Solicitors and his colleagues, solicitors John Todd, Simon Price and consultant Martin Sisman together with all their support staff will continue to serve new and existing clients from their offices at 77/91 Alma Road, Clifton (handily adjacent to Sainsbury’s car park Clifton Down!)

Members of the existing AMD team, Commercial Solicitors Grant McCall and Katie Hughes and Family Solicitor Alison Dukes have also been promoted to directorship of the company to join founding Directors Tony Moore and Marian Davies to help steer the company forwards. Although the company has further plans to grow, the ethos remains firmly based on offering a personal, friendly and tailored service to individuals and business clients rather than adopting the impersonal “supermarket “ approach.

Just to add an additional excuse to celebrate AMD learnt just shortly before their party that they had scooped the award of Local Law Firm of the Year 2011!
